91Â鶹 marks its 81st Commencement Exercises for 101 graduates on Saturday, May 17, at 10 a.m. on the 91Â鶹 Green. Theresa Hopkins-Staten, president of Eversource Energy Foundation and vice president of corporate citizenship and equity at Eversource, will deliver the keynote address. Lonnie Braxton II, retired senior assistant state’s attorney for the State of Connecticut, will receive an honorary Doctor of Laws.

Nursing Program Welcomes Inaugural Director
91Â鶹 recently welcomed Dr. Martha Kershaw as the inaugural director of its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The first cohort of nursing students will begin in Fall 2025.

Radio Mitchell Earns College Radio Award
Radio Mitchell recently won the Spirit of College Radio Awards 2024, ranked #5 best college radio station globally by organizers of World College Radio Day. One of 10 winners out of hundreds of stations that participated in the outreach event of the College Radio Foundation, they were chosen as embodying “the passion and mission of college radio.”
